    How to Use Blogiversity Tags

You will notice that at the bottom of each post, there is a box labeled "Tags". Think of tags like labels on papers in a filing cabinet. They are a small group of words that designate the topic of your post. When you tag something, our site can identify it with other posts on that topic. When someone wants to read more about that subject, they can click on the tag and see all the posts that use those exact words in their tags. This lets you read what everyone has to say about a given topic.

You will notice that on the home page, blog pages, and forums there is a group of words. These are the most popular tags/subjects that our users are talking about. Some are larger than others. This indicates more people are talking about that subject.

Tags are completely optional but if you want people to read your posts, they may be the best way to help people find what you have to say. You can make multiple tags. Just make sure to separate each with a ; between them. Try to stick to your subject as much as possible. Once a forum has some posts with tags in it, you can click the "Select Tags" button to add tags that have already been used. Remember, the more times a tag is used, the more popularity it has. So using pre-existing tags will help it rise in popularity.
