Facebook Privacy – An Easy way to fix your Privacy Settings.

There has been a lot of talk about Facebook and their privacy settings. After Facebook CEO promised simpler privacy setting and tools they are still a bit confusing. With PrivacyDefender you can make two clicks and have your Facebook page private again.

To have PrivacyDefend evaluate your privacy controls you have to go to their Facebook Page and allow their application to interact with your profile. After doing that you drag the menulet onto your toolbar and click it.

You are them presented with a pie chat that describes your privacy settings. You can then click on one of three settings on the right, which is basically a high, medium, and low privacy setting. You choose the one that best suits your needs and click the “Fix My Privacy” button. That's all there is to it.

I am not sure how well this thing works because it says my settings are all pretty much open which isn't true. Perhaps they read custom settings improperly? Let me know what you think of the tool and if it works well for you. I think this is great for a quick look at what you are showing people on Facebook.
