  • Batman: The Dark Knight

Spoiler alert! Don't continue reading this if you haven't yet seen the movie and don't want to know certain details. Otherwise, read on and tell me your thoughts! I've seen The Dark Knight twice now. First of all, this is not your typical cartoon/comicbook movie. This is a MOVIE. Drama...

  • The Dark Knight

"Batman Begins" was an interesting look into how Batman got his start. Not your typical, high profile, star studded cast--just a humble beginning to "The Bat." This sequel made a HUGE debut at the theatres and the previews do not look or sound like your typical "Batman"...

  • Re: The Incredible Hulk

Oh, and I forgot to mention in my last post that while most of the reviews about the Hulk made a few years ago were poor, nearly all of the reviews I've heard about the current Hulk have been great. Everyone I've talked to loved it and said it basically redeemed the last one. Hope this helps...

  • Re: the strangers

Most people don't even think about nursery rhymes being "creepy", but I guess when you think of "ashes, ashes, we all fall down!" and a baby falling out of a tree (who thought that was a good idea?), they are pretty creepy. As for movies, I don't personally go for horror flicks...

  • Re: Wall-e

The Incredibles is a very cute movie and I agree that most Pixar movies are well-made and just plain old fun! I honestly was NOT impressed by the idea of a small robot roaming around a random planet picking up trash (or whatever he's made to do, I haven't seen the movie yet), but many friends...

  • Re: The Incredible Hulk

Parker, If you were disappointed with the last "Hulk", trust me, you're in good company. I don't think I've heard one good review, even from friends who saw it years ago. Honestly, I don't even remember who was in it! Very sad. Having said that, I think you'll be pleasantly...

  • Why Can't Disney Movies Be More Realistic?

We were discussing Disney Movies in another thread and it sparked a whole new discussion. Since Disney always makes so many sequels to all their movies, what would happen years down the road as real life set in? Here's a few examples: The Lion King 4: Simba is driven out of the pridelands because...

  • The Dark Knight

What are everyone's thoughts on the new Batman movie, "The Dark Knight"? It's coming to theaters in a couple days and I've heard a lot about it. Apparently Heath Ledger locked himself in solitary confinement to really get into the persona of the Joker's character. Not too long...

  • Hancock

Has anyone seen Hancock? It looks like it will be such a good movie and I can't wait to go see it. Hancock is a very atypical superhero. He has superhuman powers, but no people skills at all. He's unruly, usually drunk, and terribly irresponsible. He often does more damage than the villains in...

  • Wall-e

Pixar just released their newest movie, Wall-e. So far I haven't seen a single Pixar movie that I didn't like, and most of their movies have become some of my favorites. Has anyone seen this movie yet? If so, what did you think of it? For those who haven't seen it, do you want to see it?
