I was amazed by how much The Subspace Emissary resembles the Kirby games. The painted backgrounds, frequent puzzles, and doors that teleport you to areas with special items are all very reminiscent to Kirby's magical world. I also really like that you can choose your difficulty. Keep in mind, though: you unlock more stuff by clearing events on Hard mode, so only resort to the easier difficulties if you have to.
