I'm not sure what to do once I get my mining barge skills. I'd like to just grab the first mining barge I have skill for, but I want to do the most cost effective and time effective thing. When I got my cruiser skill, I spent most of the day training for cruiser 2. Then I skipped the first cruiser altogether and went straight for the best model. Do you recommend picking up a Procurer immediately or waiting a couple days to buy a Retriever? How much better is the Retriever and is it worth the 4 million extra it costs? It requires Mining Barge 3 so it will probably take a day or two to get the skills up.

Ice Harvesting

Henri was talking about getting some of us to start ice harvesting. I have heard this mentioned before but really don't know anything about it. I'll be getting a mining barge soon and I noticed you can put ice harvesters on them. So before I invest a lot of time and money into it, what is ice harvesting? How profitable is it? What skills and equipment do you need to harvest ice? And finally where would we find ice to harvest, and how much protection would we need to be safe in the area?

Repair Drones

I heard someone talking about repair drones and I wondered what they do exactly. Can they repair your ship, friends ships, and other drones or just one of the three? How useful are they and how much do they repair? Can they repair just armor, just hull, or both? And most importantly are they worth training and getting?

Scout Drones

My skills allow me to use either light or medium scout drones. I was extremely surprised to see that scouts can not only fight, but they can fight very well. Just one of them is enough to kill most enemy ships I have encountered. When I have a swarm of 3, I usually can't get a shot off with my lasers before they have mowed down all the enemies in range.

I'm currently using 3 Hammerhead drones. I chose them because they seem to have the highest damage multiplier. Are these really the best medium combat drones, or are there any better ones out there? I'm willing to spend quite a lot of money on drones, so that's not really a factor. What are your recommendations for drones until I have the skill to get heavier combat drones?

Drone Skills

I recently bought a new Vexor, which is a cruiser class drone carrier. I have a 100m3 drone bay and a lot of bandwidth. I'm loving these drones and I'm wondering, what's the best way to go about training for my drones? I have trained up to drones level 3, but I don't really know what to do from there. What other skills do you recommend training in, and in what order should I train them?

Jump Clones

I have heard tell of these Jump Clones before and how you can use them to transport between stations quickly. I also heard they let you pilot a ship into battle with a clone without worrying about having your expensive implants destroyed. This could save millions if you go for really good implants, and save a whole lot of time jumping from station to station. So how does one go about getting and using jump clones?

Finding Agents

I completed the missions of about 3 agents and they were quite helpful and lucrative. They always referred me to other agents which I could pick up in my People and Places menu. But the last agent told me he would refer me to a friend and send me the coordinates, but he LIED TO ME! I've never been so let down by such a dishonest computer program before. There are no more agents in this menu. So where do I go from here? How do I find the next agents that will help me along in the game?
Mining Spots

Hey everyone, I like to mine AFK while I'm doing other stuff around the house. It just makes money on its own without me having to really pay attention to it. Where is a good, reasonably safe place to mine? I'm looking for a spot with decent money to be made. I need a place where my drones can deal with any enemies that come my way since I won't be there to protect myself. Ideally somewhere close to our main base in Aurcel too, so I don't have to do a lot of flying back and forth.

I'm mining in Alliere for now so I can get Plagioclase. Are there any better spots?

Navitas For Sale

Hey everyone, I just manufactured 3 Navitas Frigates. They're excellent beginner mining vessels and they need a good home. Please post a reply here or send me an in game mail if you're interested. The usual selling price is about 30,000 ISK but I'll give a corporate discount and sell it for more like 20,000.

Beginner Ships

I'm still very new to the universe of EVE. I started with a small mining frigate, then worked my way up to a destroyer. I also picked up an industrial freighter before realizing how slowly it extracts ore. I'm just about to train cruiser skills and upgrade to a more powerful ship. What's the next step from here? I would like a ship that can extract ore quickly and do very well in combat. I have Frigate skill at 4 and spaceship command at 3. Any advice would be great.
