It's amazing how different British English and American English have become. We all stemmed from a common ancestry and heritage just a few hundred years ago, yet our languages have evolved on completely different continents apart from each other. We still follow the same patterns, and still understand each other. But there are a great deal of ...

That ad with the coffee cup breaking is like my coffee. I put so much sugar into it, it's probably more solid than liquid. When the spoon stands up on its own, I know to stop putting sugar in.

My favorite commercial campaign was the "Sprite: Image is nothing, Thirst is everything" campaign. I could only find one of the commercials on YouTube. This was just one of a long series but it's still good.

Heyy look at all the field goals we scored! Go FSU!. When I was a kid, FSU won everything. We were almost always in the running for national titles, and it was usually just us vs. UF. There are good reasons why there are huge statues of Bobby Bowden around FSU campus. I think people are losing their enthusiasm for FSU now that we are losing our ...

I still remember just 6 months ago when gas prices broke $5 per gallon. Last night I saw that prices went BELOW $2 per gallon. Yes, I filled up my tank (which is 2 weeks worth of gas on my very fuel-efficient Honda) for almost exactly $18.00. I sometimes thought about buying a new car, but with gas prices the way they have been, I think I like the ...

Last night was a cold night, but I stopped for gas and picked up a nice, big slushie. The cashier looked at me like I was crazy. I didn't really understand why at the time. I hopped ...

My wireless mouse ran out of batteries and I got the following error message: (Click to enlarge)
I think it's saying I need to change the batteries, but not mix them or they could explode. Either that or it's saying batteries have volatile breeding habits. Either way it looks dangerous.

I'm glad to hear this mini-laptop also works as a cellphone. My current phone doesn't do any of those things... it barely even works as a phone.
I can replace a lot of bulky things with one little device. For example:
1) Cell Phone
2) Camera
3) Video game console
4) Schedule book
5) Roadmaps or GPS
6) Blackberry ...

I recently had to clean out the filter in the nursery tank full of shrimp. When I opened it up, I found about a dozen tiny baby shrimp actually living in the filter. Shrimp are pretty resilient little animals and they seemed to be doing just fine in there, but I'm not sure how long they would last without enough food. Besides, when they got ...
