Do a lot of people ride bikes like the ones there, or are cars the main source of transportation?
Around here, the most popular vehicles are huge SUVs which take up most of the road and burn ridiculous amounts of gas. It seems like everyone wants to have the biggest car on the road. This makes it very uncomfortable for tiny cars like mine.
Main choice is a car, of course, but there are some cycles here and there. After all, they're great for beating the traffic jams ... : )
We have a few SUVs here too. I guess that with the price of oil going steadily up (especially when/if we decide to strike iran ), SUV people will have to settle for driving less, or getting smaller cars ...
