These are some of my favorite plants in Tallahassee. They are called Bottle Brush trees because their flowers resemble brushes. Personally I think they look like tiny pink fireworks. The trees themselves look much like those you find on the African Plains, and their leaves resemble palm fronds. I actually planted one when I was 6 years old. It's still there to this day and I sometimes go visit it on my birthdays to see how much it's grown.

I observe plants in my travels.  If I like it, sometimes I take one home and plant it. My wife and I have a backyard of trees we have planted...guava,pecan,lemoncito. cannot get sugar cane to grow!

Insuffiently BAD

On Monday, the day after announcing her run for president of the United States, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton walked into a Chipotle in Ohio along with top advisor Huma Abedin. Both wore sunglasses. They ordered at the counter; nobody noticed. They sat at a table; nobody noticed. They sat at the table for 25 minutes, paid their bill, and walked out. Nobody noticed.

Upper echelon Democrats in the know seem to believe that Hillary Clinton has magic to her. The Democratic National Committee all but anointed her as their nominee just moments after her big announcement. Barack Obama all but endorsed her. The media swooned over her statement that she would be going on a tour in a van, presumably obtained down by the river and bearing the message, “FREE CANDY.” Hillary, the hardcore left seem to believe, is inevitable.

But that episode in the Chipotle says otherwise. Hillary is 100 percent name identification. She is no anonymous Chicago senator with a thin resume. But she’s unapproachable. She’s insincere. She’s elitist. And most of all, everybody knows it.

So, here are the top three reasons Hillary is no Barack Obama:

She Does Not Have The Same Racial Appeal. There is a hierarchy of victimhood in the leftist thought system. Blacks sit at the top; gays and lesbians sit just below blacks; Latinos and Native Americans sit below both groups; women come next; then, finally, come Jews and Asians, who are mainly an afterthought in the rankings. Barack Obama ran on the promise that as a half-black man, his election would unify the country, moving us all beyond the racial polarization of the past. Republicans joined Democrats in celebrating the symbolism of his election. Senator

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)

, who just declared his candidacy against Hillary, wrote in his book that he cried when Obama was elected:

I was so proud to be an American, and so moved by the powerful symbolism of the moment, I couldn’t stop myself from tearing up.

Nobody will cry when Hillary is elected, because nobody truly believes a woman cannot be elected in America. Three out of our last four secretaries of state were women. We have multiple powerful female senators. She’s not a victim.

More than that, Barack Obama’s 2012 election, which represented a far better gauge of his actual support level than 2008, relied heavily on black electoral support. Similarly, Obama relied heavily on black support in the 2008 primaries. Without black support in 2008, Obama gets crushed by Hillary. Hillary simply doesn’t have that same level of support from blacks in either the primaries or the general election.

She’s Not a Compelling Female. Hillary is female. If you haven’t heard, she will tell you herself, 1,000 different times. But the point is that her points of commonality with female voters are not particularly compelling. She grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth, married the future governor of Arkansas, rode his coattails to a prestigious law firm job, First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State. She does not resonate as a mother or as a grandmother, despite the best efforts of the media to portray her as a younger Betty White.

Barack Obama may have maxed out the gender gap. In 2008, women went Democrat by 13 points, as opposed to a three-point gender gap in 2004. In 2012, they went Democrat by a similar margin. Gallup polls show that Hillary has a 56 percent approval rating among women – the same vote percentage among women Obama got in both elections. Those numbers are unlikely to rise. She will have to count on heavier turnout than Obama got.

She’s Old. Voters under 30 represented 19 percent of those who voted in 2012. That’s bad news for Hillary, given that she must rely on contributions from women and youth to make up the deficit she will face in the black vote turnout. The worse news is that Hillary is old. It’s easy for pollsters to predict that she will capture the hearts of youth voters; as of early April, a Fusion poll showed her beating candidates including Jeb Bush,

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)

, Scott Walker, and Rubio soundly (Bush fared best, losing 63 percent to 30 percent). But that’s because young voters haven’t seen Hillary. Hillary always polls well when she goes missing. When she begins showing up at Chipotle, nobody is interested.

And Hillary represents the past. That was a contrast beautifully drawn by Rubio in his announcement speech:

Just yesterday, a leader from yesterday began a campaign for President by promising to take us back to yesterday. But yesterday is over, and we are never going back.

Barack Obama made the same argument successfully against Mitt Romney in 2012, even though Romney had no history. Republicans have a solid shot to do so against Hillary, who reeks of the 1990s.

Now, Hillary still has similarities to Obama: the media will favor her; she won’t have to answer tough questions; her past will be glossed over; she’s an elitist, an Ivy Leaguer, a faux intellectual. But unlike with Obama, the American people seem less willing to hand her the presidency based on simple identity politics. Which means she’ll have to reach out to people herself. And when Hillary is herself, bad things happen for Hillary Clinton.

Who can predict the future? Who could possibly know that The Donald some twenty plus years later would "take care of that birth certificate problem for Obama" by making a big issue of it THEN ignoring the fact that the last one Obama had photoshopped - is PHONY like the shorter ones. Even not-so-expert Photoshop users have spotted the Ukilali, the "x" over twins and several other descrepancies and flaws. STILL, that little PHONY entirely ESCAPED TRUMP'S watchful closed eyes. It did not matter since he is a businessman first. After all, he's "Well, if I ever ran for office, I'd do better as a Democrat than as a Republican," Donald Trump admitted in a Playboy Magazine interview in 1990. "And that's not because I'd be more liberal, because I'm conservative. But the working guy would elect me. He likes me."

Some of that conservative streak is apparent in SOME of TRUMP'S comments, but like Ross Perot and his "You Republicans done Detroit WRONG" TRUMP has numerous "bones" to "pick" with Republicans. After all it is GOP liberal policies that are making them look like Democrats so that skeptics say,"There's not a DIME'S worth of difference". IF the GOP Establishment "throws in the towel" instead of their "HAT IN THE RING" and does the UNSPEAKABLE and nominates Jeb (Common Core, Illegal Immigration, Loving, not run again as Governor Why?) Bush. Since Ross Perot has been out, TRUMP made an early push for the Republican presidential nomination. Of course, the GOP knows TRUMP knows he has NO CHANCE but can screw up the Republicans "without using any pins and not their hair". And while TRUMP mentioned his Republican streak long ago, his sympathies and political views have been "variable" during the last 25 years. Of late, in the last few years, TRUMP has seemed to find some "glue and traction" in what he appears to think and whom he supports.

TRUMP loves to defend himself, especially when he is a "no show". He declined to go to the first debate but he KNEW he would be the "invisible 8000 pound elephant in the room and sure enough, Megyn Kelly and FOX brought up TRUMP several times. Obviously FOX was told to "GET TRUMP". Like Clint Eastwood's empty chair analogy, TRUMP was impossible to NOT MENTION at least for the FOX team.

Fox News Channel reached some 24 million viewers, making the event the largest audience ever for FOX and any cable news event.

The runner-up was the Al Gore and Henry (Hank) Ross Perot on CNN in 1993, viewed by 16.8 million people, according to Nielsen company ratings.

In that one Al Gore lied about US tires from dying US industries being taxed by Mexico. The solution was to tax tires from Mexico quid pro quo, instead the Democrats used it as an excuse to finish off American jobs and business with NAFTA. Canadian tires with no tariff or tax finished off what few American tire companies.

Sorry Mr "Foot In Mouth" Trump but YOU DID SAY,"I have a great relationship with the blacks." And you did say,“I’m their worst nightmare.” (to Democrats pretending not to "Perot" the Republicans when they "over-look Scott Walker) And you did say,"The beauty of me is that I'm very rich." And,"Some of the candidates, they went in and didn't know the air conditioner didn't work and sweated like dogs, and they didn't know the room was too big because they didn't have anybody there. How are they going to beat ISIS?"

This guy is literally just running his mouth.

11. "It's like in golf. A lot of people — I don't want this to sound trivial — but a lot of people are switching to these really long putters, very unattractive. It’s weird. You see these great players with these really long putters, because they can't sink three-footers anymore. And, I hate it. I am a traditionalist. I have so many fabulous friends who happen to be gay, but I am a traditionalist." GOT "fabulous gay golfer friend MR TRUMP?

And, "The point is, that you can never be too greedy."

"Even if the world is going to hell in a hand-basket, I won’t lose a penny.” Like the Demokin-Republocrat he is, TRUMP has nothing to lose by catastrophically destroying America. So, why not?!

Occasionally TRUMP makes a goof gaff but,"You have to be hit by a tractor, literally, a tractor, to use it, because the deductibles are so high. It's virtually useless." (He has listened to people about Obamacare which is catastropic, out-of-pocket-$10,000 BEFORE it pays a nickel and it is and EXPENSIVE "tax"! Repeal Obamacare and flush everybody who thinks it is "cool". Dangerous politicians IGNORE Obamacare and out-of-control immigration.

Occasionally, TRUMP is RIGHT - don't have a sandwich under a windturbine because a dead bird MIGHT land in your food! It just WILL NOT BE AN EAGLE, maybe a sparrow...TRUMP said,“It’s Friday. How many bald eagles did wind turbines kill today? They are an environmental & aesthetic disaster.”

TRUMP: “I would’ve won the race against Obama. He would’ve been easy.” NO...Mt Trump, but you would have taken VOTES from BOTH lackluster, BORING GOP candidates carefully chosen - to LOSE!!! Romney would have ran FIRST, but he wanted to LOSE to an INCUMBENT SITTING PRESIDENT, that he could not say anything bad about EXCEPT ONE 18 second "HIT" ad with Obama referring to female affection. Obama admitted,"I don't get it!"

But he could if he ever wanted to, Michele, or "Mike" pretends to be jealous of real ladies, but will be the first transgender to run for Vice President when Mike accepts the nomination, that Hillary mentioned in her Emails. We wondered why Obama lightened up on Hillary Clinton "not being bad enough". She WILL get the nomination and she WILL pick Michele! This prediction of Monday, August 10 at 12:31 PM. the "Czar of unknown, less than 20,000 hit bloggers" has spoken!
