We all spend a lot of time reading through websites to find that little nugget of actual information we need. Some sites are so big it takes a very long time to get anywhere. Firefox has a feature that makes this extremely easy to find just about anything. When you're browsing a site with Firefox, hit the Ctrl+F (or Apple+F on a Mac) keys at the same time. This will pull up the tiny find bar at the bottom left of the window. Simply type in part or all of your word and it will instantly jump to highlight the first place it sees those letters on the page.
If you press "Next", or "Previous", you can jump up and down the page to each place that word occurs. Clicking "Highlight All" will highlight every time that word shows up on the page so you can quickly scan for it. You can also use the "Match Case" to make it show only words with the same capitalization. Using this feature will save you a lot of time and headache from scanning thick text.
