Wiis are a whole lot of fun and they seem to make a gamer out of all of us. Their motion sensitive controls allow for very fun and innovative games like Wii Sports (bowling, golf, tennis, boxing, and baseball) which allow users to interact with their environment by body motion. They also allow users to play classic games from past generations of Nintendo consoles, all the way back to old arcade games. They also have amazing new games incorporating the new technology. It all rounds out to an extremely fun experience that anyone can get into.
It would probably be good exercise for your gramps, but you're probably right. You'd be there all the time to play with him. You both might enjoy it though.

Oh he would love COUPON CLIPPING HERO. It simulates the glamorous life of a world famous coupon clipper. You can cut out coupons in all shapes and sizes and save thousands of simulated dollars on your simulated shopping sprees. Play as one of over 20 different characters and earn new scissors as you level up. In case you were wondering, I just made all that up. But, with all those crazy simulator games out there, would you really put it past them?

I think I have a good idea for a Wii game. Maybe something like "Waiting in line 4"

Haha, I love it! Is it just me, or has Wii been coming up with a lot of rather mundane games lately? For example, the Wii-Fit looks very innovative in concept, and I like the idea of a video game that promotes exercise. Still, it doesn't seem like it would be too terribly fun. I'm a big fan of Wii-boxing, which actually gets you a good workout. Most importantly, it's a lot of fun too. I think they need to work a little harder on fully blending activity AND fun gameplay.
