    T-Ball!

I don't recall ever being on a t-ball team. But my little brother (3) is a proud t-ball player. Although, if you ask him about it.. he'll correct you immediately and call it "wee ball". I guess that's what they call it on the field. Anyways, nothing is more exciting than seeing tiny people running around on the field, getting distracted by rocks, and rolling around in the dirt for no apparent reason except to get their uniform dirty. Never will you see a wee ball player with a uniform dirty from sliding to base.

My favorite part is watching their faces when they hit the ball off the T. It's PRICELESS. Especially when the parents on the field have to remind and direct them to go to the next base. No one ever gets out and everyone gets a shot at the T. When the hitter hits the ball all the kids swarm to it. Eventually one kid has the ball. They stand there with HUGE smile on their face... just stand there while the hitter waddles to the first.

This is the best experience EVER. I can tell you with out a doubt... when ever I have kids.. they're going to be Wee Ball players. :D

The nice thing about standards is that there are so many of them to choose from.

    Re: T-Ball!

As a parent I'm starting to look around for possible sports for my child to play. She's full of energy and she likes to whack at things. The only problem is, she can't catch to save her life. I'm looking at the possibility of tee ball (just because I grew up in baseball and remember the good times I had) but I just don't know if she's cut out for it. She still has 2 years before she can register. Maybe she'll develop some hand/eye coordination by then.

I remember T-ball, it's where my coach taught me to bat right handed because he didn't thing about the fact that I was left handed. I mean come on man you had me playing first you had to of known I was left handed. Oh well I guess it only affected my entire baseball carrer. lol it was a blast anyways.

Just keep throwing stuff at her untill she catches it. That's what my father did to me. I had a lot of bruises until I learned to catch.
