    Druid Wipe Prevention Trick

I came up with a nifty trick a druid can do to save a group in case of wipes.

As I'm sure you are all painfully aware, if the only character capable of resurrecting someone dies, the whole group has to come to a halt and run back into the instance. If it takes long enough, enemies will have respawned at the entrance and you sort of have to start over. This is called a wipe. Druids aren't usually particularly useful for helping with this because they can only resurrect one party member before going on a long cooldown period. It's unlikely a druid will manage to beat back all the enemies alone and live to resurrect the priest. I have another trick that makes this possible.

If you see a wipe coming (bad pull, healer dies, etc) run back from the enemies and try to lose any aggro. Have the healer Spam heal and get itself killed. Yes you actually want to have the rezzer kill itself on purpose, and as quickly as possible. Have them go all out healing and protecting the druid. As soon as the healer dies, you can use rebirth on him. Make sure you have time to get the spell off before you die yourself. Here's the key, make sure the healer DOESN'T REZ. The resurrect confirmation will stay up for a little while but they can stay safely on the ground. Once all the enemies have finished off the group, and run back to a safe distance, the healer can accept the rez safely. Then he can pick up the fallen allies and you can all keep going as if nothing happened. This technique is to be used only when you know you're going down. If there's a chance of living you may want to actually rez someone else to keep the fight alive. If your guild raids consistently, you might want to practice this technique because it takes a lot of coordination to pull off properly.
