First aid is another of the secondary professions and can be picked up on top of your other professions. It allows the user to turn gathered cloth into bandages. These can be used in combat to heal yourself and your allies. These are especially useful for rogues, warriors, hunters, and mages who cannot heal themselves in combat. It is also often learned by people who get cloth and don't feel like taking it to the auction house. It can be useful even for healers who can bandage people after they run out of mana. Don't expect to make much money from this profession as bandages almost never sell on the auction house.
