Sasuke Uchiha is the second member of Naruto's squad. He is always quiet and melancholy, and usually prefers to be alone. He is consumed with hatred and his life goal is nothing other than to kill his older brother. He is an avenger and strives above all else to gain power to use against him. Sasuke graduated from the Ninja Academy at the top of his class, and is highly admired by the villagers. Sakura and Inno are both madly in love with him, and compete for his attention. Sasuke doesn't care at all for either one. Naruto, on the other hand, is completely in love with Sakura. He is constantly competing with Sasuke for her attention and to be recognized as the better ninja.
Back Story:
Sasuke was a member of one of the most powerful clans in the village. His brother, Itachi was one of the most skilled ninja to ever be born there. He was highly admired and praised by all the villagers, and well liked and respected by his clan. In an attempt to gain more power, Itachi joined an evil organization and murdered his entire clan, all but Sasuke. He grew up alone and trained hard to become powerful enough to kill Itachi someday. He forsook a normal life and became an avenger.
Abilities:
Fire Techniques: Sasuke's clan was a master of fire techniques. They passed these skills on to him. He wields the ability to bathe his enemies in flames, or shoot fireball missiles at targets at great distance.
Sharingan: Sasuke's bloodline ability is his Sharingan. His clan are the only people (besides Kakashi) who can wield this power to read enemy movements and dodge or copy them perfectly. Because he is an Uchiha, he can use his Sharingan much more naturally and effortlessly than Kakashi.
Chidori: Kakashi passed on his only original technique to Sasuke. He can now also use this powerful technique to slice through just about anything.
Cursed Seal: Orochimaru infected Sasuke with his cursed seal in hopes that he could one day claim Sasuke as his own. When he chooses to give in to its control, he can gain incredible power.
