The Dragoon is a legendary ship from Kirby's Air Ride. It will give you an instant KO if you can hit someone with it. In order to use it, you have to pick up all three of its pieces: the Wings, Body, and Tail.
When you pick up a piece, it will show a little icon next to your lives at the bottom of the screen. Each piece will drop separately and remain in place until it is picked up, or falls off the edge. When someone has a piece, you can beat it out of them. When they have enough damage, they will drop it and you can pick it up. If a piece or person holding a piece falls off a ledge or is KOd, the piece will respawn after a certain amount of time. When you pick up the last piece, the Dragoon will come pick you up and you gain a set of crosshairs on your screen.
You must position the crosshairs on an opponent and press the attack button at the precise second you have them fully in your sight. As soon as you attack, the dragoon will shoot across the screen and if it touches them, they will be instantly killed. If you miss by just a little, you will come back to the stage having gotten no help from all that work. On the flip side, it is possible for you to successfully dodge the killing blow if your opponent is trying to hit you.
