These little items really liven things up in a Brawl. In order to use a final smash, you must gain the power of a Smash Ball. These will give you a huge advantage in battle, so be sure to grab them if they appear. When one appears, it will hover around the stage, darting randomly from place to place. Naturally, everywhere it goes, your enemies will go too. Each time you hit it, it takes damage. I think it takes about 50 damage to break the ball. It doesn't matter who hits it the most, whoever delivers the final blow gets the final smash. When you get it, you start to glow with power. When you use your normal special move, it will unleash your final smash. Be careful to time this when you can do the most damage to your enemies. If you get hit a couple of times, the ball will be knocked out of you and you will lose the final smash. The ball is then up for grabs again.
