    Full Metal Feaver...

I am a huge fan of fma and highly recommend this anime to anyone who watches anime, its mix of a good cast, great storyline and deep exploration of morality and right vs. wrong makes it one I have already watched 5 times nowWink

I have only had time to watch a couple of these episodes, but what I've seen so far is really good. I'm up to the third episode and already I can see questions raised of science vs. faith. I see a parable emerging of where science goes too far and treads upon the realm of God. These mere kids are on a never ending quest to develop their skills to the point of being able to resurrect their dead mother. They paid the price and lost parts of themselves in the process, but never waver in their determination. When I find the time, I hope to watch more of this series.

I just hope it's not as philosophically ponderous as Gundam Wing. Gundam Wing focused so much on exploring the ethics and justifications of war that nothing really happened, and what did happen resulted in the series ending basically where it began. But from the one or two episodes of Full Metal Alchemist that I've seen, it seems to move pretty quickly and to have a decent balance of philosophy and action.
