    What is Heroes?

What is a hero? A hero is the single mom willing to sacrafice anything to protect her child. A hero is the cheerleader in High School who lives in the spotlight, yet finds herself so completely alone. A hero is the politician who embodies the hopes and dreams of the people around him. A hero is the everyday office worker who spends all day fading into the nothingness of time, yet somehow yearns to make a difference in this world. A hero is a nurse who spends his life quietly inspiring hope and joy in the lives of others. A hero is someone with super powers who fights evil to save the world.

The TV series Heroes is about this kind of everyday heroes... Only the single mom has superhuman strength, the cheerleader can't die, the politician can fly, the office worker can manipulate time itself, and the nurse can absorb the super powers of those around him. In this series, everyday average people find that they have extraordinary powers hidden within. As they learn what they are truly capable of, they begin to grow into the heroes they are meant to be. This is one of the most intense and enthralling TV shows ever aired. Its epic and intricate storyline will have you laughing, crying, and falling in love with these everyday heroes.

    Re: What is Heroes?

I remember this show. I used to spend Monday night with my mom watching it.

I used to have a t-shirt that said on the front- "I'm like a super hero with no powers or motivation"  It still holds true

The nice thing about standards is that there are so many of them to choose from.

Haha I love the T-shirt. My roommates and I used to spend hours watching Heroes together when they would show those marathons. It was kind of our manly roommate bonding time. Now I watch them with my girlfriend and her family. It's definitely a lot of fun once you get into it, and it's definitely a group viewing kind of show.
