1. Clear Target Smash with 30 or more characters on any difficulty level
2. Play 250 Vs. Battles
3. Meet Game & Watch on Subspace Emissary Mode
Mr. Game & Watch is probably one of the hardest characters to unlock the classic way. Of course you can always unlock him with 250 Brawls or meet him in the Subspace Emissary. In order to unlock him the traditional way, you must not only unlock at least 30 other characters, and beat the target tests with each of them. Needless to say, this is quite a feat. It will also be quite a lot of work to finish the necessary 250 Vs. Mode battles required to unlock him that way. Fighting him is also difficult. He moves irregularly and is full of surprises. His only real projectiles are mainly closer range, so a long range barrage may do the trick. No matter how you look at it, he will be a tough challenge.
