Borderlands is the first RPG game that I have ever really liked. The game has a lot of shoot'em up attributes which I love. It also has the RPG aspects with the levels and attributes that you can increase as you gain experience points. There are tons of weapons in the game all of which have their unique attributes and characteristics.
The live co-op is great and a lot of fun. You can start a game and allow random people to jump in and help you with your quests. You can also jump in and out of a friends games at any time. This is one of the best features of the game which allows you to start a game that permits people can join as they come online. It's a great way to play and get experience. The games matching feature will automatically pair different character types with similar levels together in games. That way you have a well rounded gang of treasure hunters that are all trying to get accomplish the same jobs.
