    EVE Online Photography

We now have an EVE Online Screenshots Gallery on Blogiversity. EVE Online photography is a lot of fun, but you first need to learn how to take pictures. It took me a lot of research to figure this out so I'll post the info I learned.

First of all, you will want to clear the screen of all the displays and windows that get in the way. You can do this by pressing CTRL + Tab. This will take away everything and give you a clear view of your subject.

You can get some good angles by clicking on an object and pressing "Look At". This will show you the scene from the perspective of that object. I like to check a few vantage points before taking a shot. Remember to hit CTRL + Tab to bring the interface back so you can click on things. You can also mouse wheel to zoom in or out, hold left click to rotate the camera position, or hold right click to rotate the camera angle.

Once you have the shot, hit the PrntScr key at the top of your keyboard. This will snap the picture for you and save the file to your EVE Folder.

Now you have to go find the file. Go to "My Documents>EVE>Capture>Screenshots". This folder will have all your EVE screenshots in it.

For info on how to upload them to the EVE Online Screenshots Gallery on Blogiversity, check out the Photo Gallery Guide in the Blogiversity Tutorial Forums.

You will need permission to post to the EVE Screenshots Gallery. If you would like permission, please just post a reply to this post and I'll enable it.
