LOL I feel exactly the same way. Strangely enough I grew up with a father who is a naturalist, but also grew up alongside the internet age. So while I know exactly how to unlock all achievements on Halo 3, I can also tell the bird outside is a cardinal just from it's call. Sometimes I feel bad for the kids who came after me that will never really appreciate the world outside them because it's less fun than the virtual world.
