 If you want to listen to good jazz and have a great steak with a delicious salad or any of the other incredible options from the menu then Tio Lucas is the place to go. The night we were there we got lucky, the great blues singer Lila Downs was in town visiting and sang several songs with the band. It was a real joy listening to her aside from the wonderful dinner we had. Lila was in town because she has a part in the film THE WISH that is been shot there in San Miguel de Allende.  

That's a beautiful restaurant. I love Mexican restaurants around town, but I have to wonder if it's as good as authentic Mexican cuisine right out of Mexico. I have a feeling we greatly Americanize our food when we sell it here. What are some of the best and most popular foods in your area?
