In America, much of our diet comes from food derived from other cultures. When deciding which restaurant to eat at, I often find myself asking if we're feeling like eating Mexican, Chinese, or Italian. Most restaurants around town are themed according to the country of origin of their food. I'm curious to see what kind of food is most popular in our community.

I really like all of the above kinds of food. I sometimes will find myself really in the mood for a certain restaurant or type of food. I think my favorite is Chinese, simply because Chinese restaurants are almost always buffet style, with all kinds of food to choose from. Many of them have American food available for the less adventurous crowd as well. Mexican is another of my favorites and I often grab lunch by myself at a local Mexican restaurant. If I'm going for a really nice sit down date with my girlfriend, I usually prefer something more Italian. I'm rarely in the mood for Japanese cuisine, but I enjoy it as an occasional treat.
