    Great Quotes

Most of these quotes I got from Seventeen magazine back in the 90's. LOL.

"In this world, you must be a bit too kind in order to be kind enough."

"Everyone has his burden, what counts is how you carry it."

"It isnt enought to talk about peace; one must believe in it. And it isn't enought to believe; one must work at it."

"Your own heart is you guru."

These last quotes are quotes I basically lived by all of middle school and high school. They are the reason I particpate in many things and the reason I always have a positive attitude.

"Don't let anyone treat you as if you are unimportant because you are young. Instead be an example to the believers with your words, your actions, your love, your faith, and your pure life."

"Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can."

The ONLY place success comes before work is in the dictionary. You must work to be successful.

    Re: Great Quotes

Those are all really good quotes. I always used to really hold onto the one about not letting people treat you as if you're unimportant because you're young. I've always needed to operate on a level far beyond my age in many aspects of my life. Last year I worked in a State job and I was a kid fresh out of college. I ended up being given responsibility over the entire state's hunting and fishing regulations distribution. I had to constantly coordinate people in other agencies, most of them older than my parents. It was a bit intimidating being put in charge of making sure over 2 million regulation magazines made it into the hands of everyone who needed them. I had to really work hard to keep people from looking down on me because I was young. I just made sure not to mention my age as much as possible and no one was the wiser.
