    Favorite Class

Of all the classes on WoW, which class is your favorite? This can be a really tough call sometimes, especially for those of us who play multiple classes. But if you had to choose just one (because you do), which would it be?

What is your favorite class on WoW?

What's your overall favorite class to play?
    • Druid (40%)
    • Hunter (0%)
    • Mage (0%)
    • Paladin (20%)
    • Priest (20%)
    • Rogue (20%)
    • Shaman (0%)
    • Warlock (0%)
    • Warrior (0%)
    • Total Votes: 5

Please explain why you voted for the class you picked.

    Re: Favorite Class

I really have two favorites but Druids are overall my favorite. I love turning into all the different animals they can become. It's like having multiple classes in one. I love being able to do just about any job I need to. With the right gear and talents, they can be far more powerful than most players in the classes they mimic too. Druids are awesome in PVE but I haven't had much luck in PVP with my druid.

For PVP I love my lock. It's mad ranged dps at its finest. Locks have a lot of fun skills and can be insanely powerful too. It's a really close call between the two.

I almost leveled a priest up to lv 40 JUST for their mind control skill. They can take control of a humanoid enemy and make them do whatever they want, including run full speed off a cliff. While I see few priests actually use this skill, the possibilities for messing with horde are endless.

Based on what you have said, you might actually want to try a paladin. I have seen them heal almost as effectively as priests, but a really good pally can take on more than just 2 70s at once. They're practically indestructible if you gear them right. They can also DPS pretty well with a quick gear change. Then again, if you like healing, priests are pretty hard to top. Unfortunately as a hybrid class, even if you're a better healer than most priests, a lot of groups will just want a priest regardless.

    Re: Favorite Class

Something about having a priest at 60 playing through the majority of the raid dungeons, then rolling another priest at expansion and playing through the majority of the raid dungeons makes me think I have an addiction the class.

     Just a hunch.

I had otherwise dabbled with spellcasters, thinking the mana-similarities would lend a hand in grasping the class. DPS just wasn't for me. I came to find that out despite my first class being a hunter, which I enjoy moreso than other ranged damage classes. I rolled a paladin to 70, and played her also at 60. I still enjoy my paladin but it lacks the sheer versatility of the priest in several key areas. I also have a druid and shaman but their jack of all trades can be annoying for me to level - their end game varities in healing are powerful and I respect that. But yet, there is that versatility to a priest that cannot be denied having AoE heals, HoT's, and decently strong direct heals.

My favorite alt is from the opposite world: warrior. I'm enjoying it immensely, healing allowing me the opportunity to watch threat closer than I ever had to before.

Being sad is the same thing as giving up.

WoW you have a lot of chars. I still remember when your brand new lv 1 priest beat my lv 60 druid to 70. I also remember your paladin and her plate armor bikini which somehow had more armor than the rest of my outfit combined. Paladins are so unfair. The rest of us were all sweating in our full suits of armor in Molten Core and you were just fine in your skimpy outfit.
