I've been taking a Team Sports class at my school. We go through the motions of three different team sports: Basketball, Volley Ball, and Softball.
I have to say... I really don't like watching sports on tv. You'll never see me at any of the games, and if you ask me a question concerning the score of the "BIG" game.. not only will I not know.. I won't care.
When you play the sport, you get hooked. I used to be on the crew team and I was obsessed with the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, and WHERE of the sport. The same goes with soccer although not as extreme. My new favorite interest, however, is basketball. Although I'm not to the point where I want to know who's playing who, I pay pretty close attention when it comes to watching a game. Being that i'm 5'2'', I don't really have the long swift moves of other players, but now that I know how to play the game.. I really love it. :D
Basketball is fun to play even when you're in your drive way by yourself. The challenge of getting the ball into the hoop will forever entertain me. I really enjoy playing this sport.
The nice thing about standards is that there are so many of them to choose from.
