    Used Kleenex

My dog loves to eat the tissues I'm using constantly during this allergy season. I had doubts about giving the used kleenex to the dog so I asked the vet if it was okay. He said that it was, the acid in the dog's stomach would destroy any bacteria and that the dog liked the texture. It still makes me a little queasy, though, when I offer the kleenex I've just blown my nose into to the dog and she grabs it quickly, runs off with it, and consumes it with such delight. I have limited her to only two tissues per day and I do not give them to her when I have a cold, only just the allergy tissues. She will pull junk mail out of the trash and chew on that if she feels she is having a paper deficit.

Computers are like dogs. They can sense fear. You must BELIEVE that they will work.

That is nasty...and my dog does the same thing! Peaches will go from room to room, wastebasket to wastebasket searching for tissues or papertowels.

So that's why my maltese has such a wastebasket/tissue fettish! We constantly find tissue from the watebaskets just lying all over the house.

You know how kids are always saying the dog ate my homework? Well that actually happened to me once. I spilled something on it that the dog liked and it ate about half of it. I brought in the chewed up piece and showed it to my teacher just to prove it could happen.

And yes my dog was always going for tissues too. They seem to instinctively seek out any disgusting biological matter of any kind they can find. What really got on my nerves was the way my dog would steal candy. He LOVED halls defense vitamin drops. I have NO idea why he liked the citrus flavored candies so much. Dogs are supposed to hate citrus. But he would jump on my bed and try to snuffle up all the candies he could while I tried to duck under the covers and hide them. He was so obnoxious.
