    WoW Glitches

Because it's a computer program with billions of variables going on each second, WoW can glitch up from time to time. Have you ever had a really fun WoW glitch? I once got on a boat from Auberdine and sailed UNDER the Stonetalon mountains. After the loading screen I looked around to only see mist. Then I looked UP and saw trees and mountains over my head. After a leisurely underground cruise, the boat pulled back into Auberdine harbor. I turned to the only other guy on the boat and said, "Did that just happen?" He seemed a little shocked that I saw it too and said "....yepp...". I was a little afraid to sail for a while.

I've had a lot of those. Falling under org, falling into the gray abyss, etc. Sometimes it is fun, sometimes it isn't. Smile

I was killing crocodiles in Loch Modan the other day and saw one bouncing up and down in and out of the water. He was hopping about 10 feet in the air and going completely submerged. There must have been some problem with the ground texture but it was really funny to watch.

I once saw a goat in Nagrand at the top of a tree. He was just walking around on the treetop, minding his own business. I flew up there and killed him for breaking the laws of nature. There are consequences for that kind of thing.

Oh man one time I called my pet raptor and he didn't come. I kept calling and calling but he just wouldn't show up. So I used Eyes of the Beast to see where he was from his perspective....

HE WAS FLYING OVER THE IRONFORGE MOUNTAINS! He was literally about 200 feet in the air just floating towards me. I couldn't control him but I just kept on his perspective until he flew all the way into gnomregan where I was waiting for him. I guess that's where pets go when you dismiss them.

oh man all of these things are crazy. Nothing crazy has ever happened to me. Just the usal getting attcked out of nowhere but there's nothing in sight or attacking your target, literally being on top of them but its saying you're too far away.

That's the worst when the enemy is in one place but the game thinks it's somewhere else. I've killed an enemy and had to walk around and find the spot on the ground where he actually was (usually pretty far from the corpse) and loot the air. And when they just evade everything you attack with because theyre really far away but you still take all the damage they do, that's just awful.

I was once about to mine a deposit in a mountain and just before I got there, I saw a green thing moving around on the ground. I looked closer and suddenly an elf head with green hair popped out and started mining. This elf was WAY under level, and WAY underground too. It just mined the deposit right in front of me, dropped back underground, and disappeared. I /whod the name and got no one. I don't know what happened there but someone was making out like a bandit.

Just recently i ran gnomergan twice, and both times before actually entering the instance there is one little leper gnome that doesnt move or attack, and doesnt take any damage, so if your looking to skill up with weapons this might be a place to try. not sure if he will always be there, but he was for me

    Re: WoW Glitches

That's actually a really useful glitch. If an enemy can't hit you back and can't die, you can start an auto attack, and just leave your character attacking it over and over while you go do other things. Come back after a while and your weapon skill should be maxed.

    Re: WoW Glitches

I found a glitch where I could use a mind control helmet on an enemy player in PVP and then use eyes of the beast on him to control him directly. I could then make the guy dance around, use up all his cooldowns, or in most cases jump off a cliff. I once had a horde run into Orgrimmar where he was promptly beaten to death by his friends. Horde have no manners.

The really fun part was I could disengage it and it would leave its victim helpless and paralyzed. I had to scatter shot them to regain their controls. But like most fun glitches, Blizzard had it fixed by the next patch.
