    about JC!

Honestly I think in my opinion that jewelcrafting is the hardest profession. I guess its because its still new. Prices on cutting recipes are unbelievably crazy. Im a JC but sometimes i just want to quit!!

    oh and hi Arc!! hehe

I know what you mean. All the serious crafting professions get really difficult towards the end because you have to get SO many materials to make just one item, and even then it's only a small chance you will gain a skill point. I have a maxed out elemental leatherworker on my druid and the only way I got those last 20 points or so was selling epic armor. Keep it up, though. It's worth it in the end. I had a friend who made hundreds of gold just buying out stacks of ore, rifling through them for gems, cutting them, and selling them on AH. She was the richest person I knew. So in time the fact that jewelcrafting is hard will be to your advantage because you will have less competition in the market. Just keep plugging away at it.

I'm a jewelcrafter too and I know what you mean. It's a lot of work to get skill. Especially when you have to find rare jewels just to make your items. It will definitely pay off in the long run. One thing you might try is offering free services or working for small tips. Just offer what you can make in IF and say FREE FOR MATS. People bring you the items to make them and it costs you nothing. They're happy to get a good item free. In the end you both benefit because you get valuable points in your skill. This is best done as a last resort, though, because there's lots of money to be made from selling items on AH.

Just stick with it. When you get enough of those rare cuts, you can make a good living off tips just from cutting peoples gems.
