I went fishing with my dad on his friend's pond a lot when I was very young. One day we were fishing with earth worms and my dad saw a couple baby alligators sunning themselves on a lily pad.
He tossed the worm over to them and to his surprise, one of them grabbed it. He reeled it in all the way to the boat before it realized it was being pulled. When he got it, it started clucking and calling for its mother. Needless to say we booked it out of there pretty quickly. We brought the gator home and put it in a 10 gallon fish tank. We thought it might be interesting to see how it did in there. As far as pets go, it wasn't the best. It mostly just hissed at us. And you really can't cuddle an alligator. After about a week we found a nice lake away from people to put it in. I still don't understand why some people actually keep these as pets, but to each his own I guess.
Every man dies, but few truly live. Live your life to its fullest, every day as if it were your last.
