    Professions Introduction: Enchanting

The Enchanting profession allows users to remove the magical power from items and use it to imbue beneficial added effects on weapons and armor. Enchanting is one of the most expensive and difficult professions to master. Because its effects are generally beneficial for all classes, there is really no specific class that is best for enchanting. The only way to get materials is to destroy items of green or higher value and turn them into magical dust or essences. These green items must be made, bought, or picked up off enemy corpses. Most enchanters rely on disenchanting bind on pickup items that drop from instances when no one wants them. If you want to make your own green items for disenchanting, it is best to pair this with the Tailoring profession. Tailoring can make green items without having to have another profession to gather the materials to make them. Enchanting patterns are also hard to come by, and only do one specific kind of enchant. In order to be truly profitable, you need a wide variety of enchantments to sell to others. Once you get to the highest skill levels and have enough useful patterns, you can make a lot of money and repay your huge costs for achieving your skills. I recommend this for only experienced players who already have a good supply of money.
