    Who do you main?

This post is all about your main character.  Before Brawl came out, people had already decided who they were going to main, but that decision soon changed after they played as all of the different characters.  I thought that I was going to main Peach, but after finding that she was weakened, I decided that it was time to find a new main.  Now, I don't have just one main.  I have grown fond of many characters, and I don't think that I will ever single out one character as my favorite.  So, right now, these are some of my mains:

Jigglypuff, Peach, Pokemon Trainer, Luigi, R.O.B., Toon Link, Pit, Wario, Meta Knight, Lucas, Kirby, and Bowser

I know my mains, but now I want to know yours.

Any idiot can face a crisis - it's day to day living that wears you out.

Wow that's a lot of characters. But, I'm about as bad right now. I was planning on Peach being my main, and also really curious about Zero Suit Samus, Pit, and Sonic. So far I'm leaning toward Peach, Zelda, Pit, Sonic, and strangely enough one of the Fox varieties (Fox, Falco, or Wolf). I used to never be able to play Fox, because his lead boots make him fall like a rock. I was used to Peach's floating and Zelda's acrobatics, so Fox caused me to do more damage to myself than anything else. But in this new game, he may just be what I'm looking for. I really like Pit a lot. I just wish he was more agile. When I get more than a couple hours of gameplay under my belt this may all change though. I still haven't even played all the characters.

If you're struggling to find the main or group of mains that is best suited for you, check out my character guides in the characters forums. I explain a lot of the characters' moves, analyze their strengths and weaknesses, and provide strategies for using them. I also explain what levels, settings, and circumstances each character is best for handling.

No character is ideal for every battle. Use my guides as a tool to discovering the perfect assortment of characters that will prepare you for anything Brawl will throw at you.

I've been reading up on those as you post them and theyre really useful. I recommend reading through them if youarent totally sure who you want to make your best character in brawl. Theyre also good for finding the weaknesses of your enemies so you can fight people better. Its like Snake says, half the battle is knowing your enemy.

Im gonna go with... ummm... SAMUS! You just don't get a better character than that. And now with the new Zero Suit transformation, its like mastering another character all over again. I'm still getting used to using the final smashes to switch back and forth between her armor suits. Right now im actually staying away from the smash balls till I have it all worked out. I'm also kind of liking Wolf as a backup char.

I always like the hybrid characters that can do just about anything. I love playing Zelda. It's like two characters in one. You can transform based on the  circumstances and do just about anything the situation calls for. Depending on who you fight, you can be agile and weak or powerful and slow. If you learn to use her properly, she's almost unstoppable.
