Hiya,
It's Orly & Reuven together this time, and we're going to fill you in on the greenery we live with in this part of town.
Our apt is a relatively small one in a really nice part of TA, and the park across our home is a natural wonder, filled with nature, wildlife, people, sports facilities, playgrounds, and, of course, a long and serene river (the Yarkon, as Mike would know by now).
Reuven and I take long late-afternoon walks among the beautiful grass, trees, and tranquility in the park, and are declared bird watchers and digital camera enthusiasts (amateur). We also love to have a simple Friday morning breakfast on the grass in the park, where we can observe the many and diverse ducks that inhabit the river, and share some bread or other snack with them. The picnics and walks in nature are our way of saying to the world "OK, work's over, time for some R&R!"
The park is not the only place we experience the greenery. We have tall decorated trees (with some real nice flowers) right outside our bedroom window, and at this time of year, green parrots call those trees their home. They're noisy, but we assume that not many people get to see such a site when they wake up in the morning.

About the Chinese, we have lots of restaurants like that throughout the country, and Israelis are in fact very food-culture-aware. And, the interesting thing, is that since both Reuven and I keep kosher, we even have plenty of kosher chinese places to choose from!
Don't want to keep you reading for too long, so we'll sign off for now, and leave you with some original photos I (Orly) took around our home and in the park.
Reuven says: Yup, Orly is a really good photo taker!
Orly says: Not so sure about that ...

Shalom for now ...
