Digger 3 - This Machine NOM NOMs on Landmines
The landmine is one of those weapons that is painfully simple but incredibly effective. They are cheap to produce stay in the ground and remain active for a long time and can dismantle a tank or vehicle in a single blow. The only problem is once you put them in the ground you can no long find them. Once the conflict is over you can't just go around and pick them up or at least armies don't go around picking them up. These mines are very dangerous and often kill and injure the surrounding people and have become a real problem in areas where wars have been fought over the last couple decades.
Enter the Digger 3 a 8.75-ton fully armored vehicle which is remote control and have 173Hp 4.5L 4-cylinder John Deer Engine, featuring a rotational flail which has 26 Tungsten hammers affixed to hardened steel chains which spins at 800RPM. It kind-of like a combination of a tractor, tank, and rotary tiller. The hammers go 10 inches into the ground effectively setting off any mine and destroying anything in it's path.
This thing is a monster. Watch the video below and watch the Digger 2 take out some mines in Sudan. I think the people who live in countries with a lot of land mines deserve to have them removed. They had to deal with war in their country and for years afterward with forgotten mines. It's about time someone comes up with a way to remove mines to prevent innocent people from dying.
