Import iTunes, Spotify, and Last.fm Playlist into Grooveshark
I've been using Grooveshark's VIP music streaming service for the last month and I have to say I'm impressed with it. The only problem for me is all my music and playlists are in iTunes and I have to manually search and recreate my playlists. Well with three little tools over at Groovelists.com
you can import your iTunes, Spotify, and Last.fm playlists right into Grooveshark for free.Import Spotify
To import playlists from Spotify all you have to do is select a playlist, select all the songs, and right click selecting the "Copy HTTP Link" option. Now just open the Spotify converter
and paste in your links. All you have to do now is hit the "Groovyfy it!" button. Once it's done you can hit the link provided at the top to view the playlist you just imported. This is where you actually save the playlist to your Grooveshark account.Importing Last.fmImporting Last.fm
playlists are easy, all you have to do is enter your username and hit next. You will then be presented with a list of your playlists where you can choose the ones you want to import into Grooveshark. Select them and hit the "Groovyfy it!" button. Importing iTunes Playlist
To import playlists from iTunes you first have to open it and select the playlist you want to export. Then hit File>>Library>>Export Playlist. When the save menu opens select XML as the file type and save it to your desktop. Then Open the iTunes importer
and select the saved XML file. It might take a minute but after it's done you will be presented with your playlist link that you can click on to save it to your Grooveshark account.
Grooveshark is a great music streaming service and Groovelists has just made it a little bit better. The Groovelists website is a little buggy right now but I hope they continue to improve their web tool in the future.
