I happen to love Ebay. You can get all kinds of great stuff on there, it's like the worlds largest garage sale. I just buy all kinds of stuff on Ebay and for the most part has always been a great experience. If you want a more elegant way of bidding and searching Ebay than I think you should give GarageBuy a shot.

GarageBuy is, according to it's website, the first Mac application authorized by Ebay to place bids on items. You can place bids and make purchases right from the application. GarageBuy has a gallery view that shows you not only the item and it's photos but all the photos associated with each auction.

GarageBuy will save your Ebay searches and show you how many auctions you have not viewed yet in that search. You can also hide auctions you have already viewed to cut down on the clutter. GarageBuy shows you your watched auctions and whether or not your the highest bidder and other information that you would expect to find there.

GarageBuy has ical integration so you can setup reminders for auctions that can be synced with your iPhone and other computers. The application also has growl support with is handy for those of you that use the ever so popular growl application. They also have a iphone application so if you like it better than the Ebay app you should also check that out.

So there you have an overview of GarageBuy so go to their website and check it out. It's a free application so there should be hesitation.
