Mac just got a new version of Skype that has a couple new features. You can now share your desktop with the person your chatting with. This could come in handy when your trying to show someone something on your computer. Skype has also added better sound and video quality to the Mac version. I had noticed that the PC versions of Skype had better video quality but it's nice to see Mac get a video quality upgrade.

I know that Skype is going through a lot right now with their former owners suing and threatening to take the core software with them. Skype could be in trouble of disappearing in the future. It's good to see them releasing new versions and it seems that the people at Skype still hard at work trying to make their product better and better.
