TwoUp and SizeUp - Window Organization Mac OS X
If your like me and have a big enough screen that you can put windows side by side you can work in two different windows at the same time. I often times will have Word open and have a browser open at the same time. I need to look at the browser to refer to the story and need to write in Word. You can take the windows and move them so they split the screen’s space or you could let TwoUp do it for you.
TwoUp uses a keyboard shortcut to send a window to the left, right, bottom, or top half of the screen. So all you have to do is select your window hit the shortcut that sends it to that part of the screen. Do the same thing to the other Window and you have two windows perfectly placed side by side, either vertical or horizontal.
TwoUp only resizes windows to 50% of the screen. If you want more options you can get SizeUp, which includes the ability to use multiple screens, support for spaces, and resize windows to quarter screen size among other things. SizeUp is not free it’s a “Name Your price” kind of deal. The minimum is $4.99
