So Skype is releasing an iphone application to do skype IM and Skype calls. The iPhone app hits Tuesday march 31st. It allows you to chat with your Skype friends as well as call them using skypes VOIP connection.
You have to be on WiFi however to be able to use the application. I think this is a great application for the iphone but it brings great functionality to the ipod touch. All you need is some WiFi and some microphone headphones and you’re off to the races. Of course you could need friends to call, which may be difficult for some. :)
I found these little things on the internet today and I thought they were super cool. They are these little miniture robots that have little sensers on their shoulders. The sensors can detect obsticles before the robots get to them which means they can self navigate their way through a maze which is pretty cool. Of course the robots come with a controler so if you want to control them manualy you can. I thought they were super cool checkout the video and tell me what you think.
want to buy one? check out this site. (GeekStuff4You)
I thought this was really funny. I was on twitter and I saw that one of the popular words was Xbox. So I went to check it out and see what the big deal was. Well I came across this story about the guy suing US airlines because he claims someone stole his Xbox out of his luggage.
Jesse Maiman is his name and he goes to Yale and was on his way home. He found out later that someone had snagged his xbox out of his bag. So he is not suing them for 1,000,000.
The suit seeks to have the airline pay him $1,700 for the loss of the gaming system and for "non-economic distress" of at least $25,000, but "in the maximum amount allowable by law or, in the alternative, in the sum of $1,000,000."
I don't know what this guy is thinking but there is no way that he is going to get that kind of money out of US Airlines. They have an insurance policy with luggage but it only covers 3,300 in damages but that should cover is Xbox.
I'm not sure what this guy is trying to prove but he should be happy to get the cost of the Xbox covered under their insurance. Well live and learn and don't take you Xbox on a plane.
I Found Him!
