Warning: Labels Part 4
Warning:
Labels Part 4
This package of peanuts may contain
nuts. This life saving device is not a life saving device. Sleeping pills may
cause drowsiness. Hammers may be harmful if swallowed. Here are yet more of the
infamous warning labels that somehow lose their effectiveness, or make you
question how anyone could actually print something so obvious.
On a package of peanuts:
"Warning: May contain nuts."
(That must be the secret ingredient)
Printed on a life saving device:
“This is NOT a life saving device!!!”
(Could have fooled me)
On a box of bottle rockets:
"Do not put in mouth."
(Bursting with flavor)
On a bottle of sleeping pills:
"Warning: May cause drowsiness."
(Last time I took sleeping pills, they kept me awake)
Printed on a freshness seal:
"Do not eat if seal is missing."
(If the seal is missing how can you read the label printed
on it?)
On the bottom of a supermarket dessert box:
"Do not turn upside down."
(Too late)
On a shipment of hammers:
"May be harmful if swallowed."
(So are most power tools and appliances)
On the label for a cheap rubber ball toy:
"Choking hazard: This toy is a small ball."
(In case there was any confusion)
On a lighter:
"Do not light in face. Do not expose to flame."
(Do not light your face or anything else on fire with this
lighter)
