I did say that I would share interesting or helpful internet "jewels" and I have found Yahoo to be very helpful to me. You can have email, address book, calendar, news, tv guide, music and more all in one spot. You can even read your email on your cell phone with the new "Yahoo To Go" software. I think it's pretty neat (and I life saver when you forget appointments, anniversaries, school functions, etc). Try it out...

do you find that the more channels we have to choose from, the less there is on that is good to watch? I have satellite TV with tons of channels, and yet I am always flipping around trying to find something I like, and then end up watching a show re-run or a good movie for the 10th time!
Could be just me...

OK, so I like to watch the news for our nation and I think that it is just awful that those poor people in California are faced with such great loss as they watch these wildfires wipe them out of home and memories.
The news was featuring their Governor looking for aid and doing what he can to help. Who ever thought we would see Arnold Schwarzenegger in the role of "GOVERNOR".

Hello and welcome to my new blog. I think that this is going to be a most interesting experience for me, since I am very new to this internet phenomenon. When introduced to writing a blog, I could not figure out what in the world I would write about (can you tell?) and still don't know, but I think I'll have fun and share with you the most helpful and interesting things that I have found in my many years of "surfing" the internet. (Do we still use that term, "surfing"?).
