PONDERINGS

Lunch...

Today for lunch I'm enjoying a peanut butter banana sandwich with honey along with gummy fruit snacks and a juice box. My step mom made me this lunch this morning right before taking me to school because my car got hit by a drunk deer. Being that I'm a high school senior, this could be embarrassing.. but I really don't mind. I don't have to worry about gas or buying my lunch. Not to mention... I  LOVE peanut butter banana and honey sandwiches. Yum!

What do you do for lunch?

I'm so sorry about your car. I hope they catch that deer and give him a drug test.

Your lunch makes me miss middle school. I used to get the best lunches with the string cheese and gummy snacks. My mom always packed me about 3 times what I could eat so I'd always have plenty to feed friends too.

And peanut butter honey and banana is the best. I used to sometimes put in some chips for extra crunchiness. They don't really change the flavor. They just make it more fun.

Now I feel bad about burning gas and spending money on a meal when I could have just brought in a yummy peanut butter honey and banana sandwich. At least now tomorrow's lunch is covered.

I just can't see chips tasting good in a peanut butter banana and honey sandwich... but I do like the idea of adding something crunchy... Chunky peanut butter is my favorite but we never have anything.. I might need to give my parents a nudge.. ;)

I wouldn't feel as bad if the gas prices weren't so high. If they were lower I would spend that extra money on lunch... but then... I wouldn't get that yummy sandwich.. :D

I should write something about my car accident.. maybe along the lines of, "Say NO to deer and fermented fruit!"

It scares me to think of drunk deer frolicking through the woods just waiting to jump out and attack my car. I'm already a paranoid driver. Now there's even more to worry about.

And yes, chips in a sandwich isn't for everyone. I mean I also love Octopus and Squid but don't really like fish. But some of the really weird stuff I cook sounds awful but turns out to be really good. Like my pineapple Spaghetti. It's DELICIOUS. But... it's got pineapple in it.

Oh really... that reminds me of the time I went to Cici's pizza and my friend decided to put pineapple juice on my salad.. by accident, but still.. ew. :P I actually really like octopus and squid, but I'm more likely to eat fish.

What people eat is totally related to how they were brought up... what did your parents cook for you?? Pineapple and Squid? :P

Try grilled parsnips, green peppers/onions (JUST green peppers and onions), Corn Beef and Cabbage, Prickly Pear, Yucca, and just about anything else you can imagine. Oh and don't forget chicken. LOTS of chicken. Well that was when dad cooked. Mom cooked pretty normal foods. Needless to say I'm pretty open minded about food.

Can you sit in front of a plate that has both a cheese sandwich and chips on it without putting the chips in the sandwich? I can't do it. It doesn't matter what kind of chips or what kind of cheese (though I do have a special fondness for lime tortilla chips next to cheddar).
