  • Faculty Reserve Forms

Hello LRC Staff. Just a reminder about the Faculty Reserve Forms. These forms are located below the Ariel computer in a file draw labeled "Reserve Forms". They are located in the front file of this draw on goldenrod sheets of paper. Each time an instructor brings something in to be put on reserve you will need to give them a reserve form to fill out. If they have multiple copies of one article they only need to fill out one form. If they have different articles to be put on reserve they need to fill out a reserve form for each item. These forms are now available on the intra net: ~Learning Resources & Media Services ~Forms ~Faculty Reserve Forms This is a great way for me to make sure that I have the correct information for putting these items on reserve and it also gives us a paper trail for any follow-ups, if needed. If you are not familiar with this procedure, please come ask me and I will go over it with you. :-) Amy Landon
  • Kiosk Computers

The Kiosk computers are configured differently from all other LRC computers. If you have trouble printing from the Kiosk computers, please let me know. Do not try to install a printer yourself. Chris Delp needs to do it for us. Thanks, Linda
  • Sociology Assignment

If you have people come in with the Sociology assignment on a particular city in a certain country, we have two great reference encyclopedias. Encyclopedia of World Cities (2 volume set) HT 108.5.N47 1999 Encyclopedia of Urban Cultures (4 volume set) HT108.5.E53 2002 I hope this helps. :-) Amy

  • overdue slip procedures...

Just to clarify the overdue slip procedure: Once a search is made to see if an overdue item is on our shelves, the slips should be photocopied -- give the photocopies to Todd for his files, and fold the originals, stuff in envelopes, and place in the tray. I will finish processing them and send them out in the mail on the next day. The search schedule is: Monday: Tracy Tuesday: Ashley Wednesday: Lisa Thursday: April Friday: Becky Thanks! Todd
  • Juvenile Collection has MOVED!

The juvenile collection has a new home in the LRC! The books have moved from the shelves near the classroom door over to last range by the East wall, behind the back periodicals section. Thanks to Lisa for moving them over today! There is a sign on the old shelves that instructs patrons to "ask a librarian" for assistance, so you may have a question or two at the service desk. Cheers, Todd
