We always looked forward to having "snow days" off from school. We had a really bad ice storm one year that knocked out the power for about a week, but everything did look very pretty all covered in ice. We had one snow storm that dumped about 18 inches of snow. My brother's wife was very pregnant at the time so he kept shoveling off the driveway every few hours. However, the snow was getting very deep in the streets so he wouldn't have been able to go anywhere. Luckily, she held off giving birth until the next week after the streets had been cleared.

I live in Florida so the most snow I have ever seen wasn't quite enough to stay on the ground before it melted. I gathered as much as I could to make one snowball, and put it in the freezer because it was so rare.

I have a few friends who are total pyros and not necessarily very safe ones. I've nearly lost eyebrows just from standing too close to them. When they bring out the coffee creamer, I find something to hide behind. And once we had neighbors nearly fry us with a firework launcher that tipped over. I like fireworks, but I enjoy the holiday much more from a safe distance.

First of all they never pay you back. If they don't what are you going to do start taking their stuff or take them to court. Yeah I guess you could do that but you supposably love them so you probably won't. So you just don't get paid. I only give money to family and friends if I intend it to be a gift and no repayment is needed. If you are going to do you most definitely need to have a plan in order to get your money back.

They have bags and wrapping paper and gift recipes. All you have to do is get a mug and some chocolate espressos beans and presto instant gift. I can't tell you how many times this has saved me in the past.

I think of new years as a time to make the most noise possible. I enjoy making things blow up. Anything that explodes is a great to me. So as you can see a holiday that your allowed to buy explosives and set them off at night and no one says anything. That and they think that you are being patriotic while doing. Its great i love it.

I like to pretend that I don't have anything to worry about. I tend to be a worrier. If there is something to worry about I worry about it. I combat that by not caring about things. I like to pretend that I don't care but really i do. Its my little defense mechanism that tries to prevent me from worrying about everything. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not.

It makes life so much easier. It takes all the hassle out of going to the library and you don't pay those annoying late fees. Although when you consider it's a monthly fee of $15 (yet again), you still pay that money. It's just a monthly fee instead.

What I wonder is why we don't have fully digital libraries. I know lots of people will always treasure the feel of a real book, I much prefer being able to instantly download whatever information I want online for free. If the whole library was digitized, there would be no late fees to speak of.

I hate going there I just stay way. The crowds the noise and the lines I just can't handle it. Of course yes the traffic trying to get into and out of the mall.

I love to get those duel wall glass mugs that are great for coffee or even iced beverages. I always some how always will put them into the dishwasher and somehow they get broken every time. They are machine washable but they must clang up against other glasses and break. Oh well I guess i'll just still to have a nice computer.

You also have to have a registered starbucks gift card that has 5$ or more currently on it to make it work. I think that its lame that Starbucks the biggest coffee chain can't give people what they want and give them free internet.

I was on a website that was talking about the top 10 products that have such a record. One of which was chocolate. One of the others was bananas, which kind of surprised me. One of the others was Coke-A-Cola. They had this situation where one of the bottling plants was in Columbia and there was some kind of riot and the head of the plant was assassinated. crazy huh.

I think that they were really cool for a while but its just not that practical for the travailing person. In order to get your podcasts you have to connect your ipod to your computer and thats a pain because you have to wait for it to sync everything. They need to make a podcast that downloads automatically to your ipod or iphone. that would be covenant.

I use to go the the Library a lot but not to check out books but to get CDs. The Broward county library system had an online reservation system where you could reserver music and movies from the different branches. I use to listen to music and watch movies from the library all the time. cheaper than iTunes and blockbuster. This was of course before the times of Netflix.
