$40 Ring Flash Adapter - Get the Flash for less Cash!
Monday, February 28, 2011 12:07 PM

Ring Flashes are great it's just they cost a pretty penny. So what is a amateur photographer to do when I don't have the money to drop on such a thing. Well it seems the Ring Flash adapter is a good place to start. This device uses the flash that you already have to deliver nice soft light and a professional look to your photographs. So it doesn't need batteries and simply fits onto your existing hot shoe flash. Sure it's not going to be as good as the real thing, but come on it's only $40 bucks and you get to have a pretty decent effect.

Light Strike - Laser Tag Like You Have Never Seen Before!
Monday, February 21, 2011 1:56 PM

When I was young I use to love to play laser tag. It was high tech back then, or at least it felt that way, and with Laser tag joints popping up here and there I think everyone has played it least once. Well a new laser tag product is about to hit the market from the people who brought you Paper Jamz. The product is called Light Strike and it brings new and interesting features to laser tag.

The Light Strike laser tag guns have the same look and touch technology as the Paper Jamz toy. It has unique features like a fingerprint ID scanner, long-range LED targeting, built-in health and ammo meters. You can also buy upgrades to your gun including a machine gun bipod with recoil action, a scope attachment for long distance shots, and a grenade launcher. Light Strike comes with gun options that let you change the fire rate and color of the gun. Ammo is limited and has an indicator on the clip on the bottom. To reload just press the button on the bottom of the clip. Learn more with the overly dramatic video below.

TankBot - iPhone Controlable and Maze Solving Desk Toy!
Wednesday, February 16, 2011 4:06 PM

Awwwww isn't it cute? It's a little tank robot that can run around your desk and distract you from doing actual work. This little guy has three modes autonomous, maze solving and iOS controlled. It's equipped with two LED eyes and 2 infrared transmitters that help it navigate a maze. If you are wondering how you can control this little guy with your iOS device it comes with a infrared dongle you plug into your device and free application you can download from the App store. You get 15 minutes of play with 30 minutes of charging and it comes with a USB dongle that plugs into the back of the Tankbot. The Tankbot will be out in June and available for $20, which is a pretty good deal if you ask me.
