tonight: first friday at railroad square art park

if you are looking for something to do in tallahassee tonight, why not check out the first friday festivities at railroad square? grab a bite at the renaissance cafe (open late, for first friday!), hop on the trolley for transport to off-site galleries, take the opportunity to hunt for unique valentine's treats, or just browse the art and visit with friends!

not to miss: this month, 621 gallery hosts artists matthew borgen (philly), jeff eisenberg (sf) and charles matson lume (minnesota). if you miss this art opening tonight, you can still check out the show through the rest of month. this exhibit centers around "the internal relationships between language, science and history."

finally, later this month, don't forget the "second sunday fair at railroad square." february's event on the 10th, dubbed "sweet sunday" will features hearts, valentines, romance and fun. on this day, shops and studios will trade tasty sweets and candies for donations to the american heart association.
