Thundercats Return In 2011!
THUNDERCATS.... HOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The amazingly awesome cartoon featuring the fighting feline-humanoid warriors from Thundera is returning to your TV with a new series in 2011.
Warner Bros. Animation will be producing the new Thundercats series and it will be their first shot at using anime-style animation. WBA promises that the new show will be a 21st century recreation of the classic 80s cartoon.
WBA stresses that the new show will appeal to both longtime fans of the show and first time watchers. WBA has hinted at what is to come in 2011 in saying that a grand origin story will be revealed about Prince Lion-O's rise to power and the trials he must overcome to take the throne.

WBA will collaborate with
Studio4°C (“The Animatrix,” “Gotham Knights”) for the development of the new character models. Studio4°C's work has been awesome, in my opinion, and I am very excited that they are working to bring one of my favorite childhood shows back on the air.
