8.8 Magnitude Earthquake in Chile

The earthquake was definitely one of the most devastating in history, leaving over 700 dead and 2 million misplaced. Hopefully the misplaced are found soon and the death toll doesn't get too high.

The biggest earthquake ever recorded happened in Chile as well. In 1960 the Great Chilean Earthquake measured a 9.5 on the Richter scale and left over 6,000 dead.
