Title: A female president?

While I must admit that the emergence of female presidents has suited some of the countries around the world nicely; I don't think it is time for American to follow suit. America is going through a period in time in which we are starting to lose alot of respect with the rest of the world. If you look at the countries that we are allied with, these are strong nations, many of them African nations, that believe in the conservative subserviant woman. If Hilary takes office they may look at America as a weak country run by a woman.

But what about Liberian president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf? Her motto was "All the men have failed, so let's try a woman." If Africans elected her on that basis, who is to say other countries won't follow suit? If she shows progress and reform, I think we might see other African nations elect female presidents.
As for Hilary and the United States, I think we need a drastic change in our government. Whether that means a woman, a black, an indian, or another party besides Repubs and Dems altogether, I don't know. Other countries already see the U.S. as a weak nation, led by an incompetent cowboy. Could it really hurt to elect a woman at this point?
With that said, I DO NOT want to see Hilary Clinton elected into office. I am in support of a woman president sometime in the near future, but not if that means HC. Personally, I like Barack Obama.

I agree we need a drastic change but not a women as yet.
